I had a fantastic stay at Enjoy The Pause in Chester. The house was spotless and had everything I needed, including nice little touches. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the town with its charming character. I will definitely be back and have already recommended it to friends.
The only minor issue was that the mattress in the travel cot was a bit thin and hard. We ended up using a spare bed with our baby's sleeping guard to make him more comfortable.

We've just returned from a weekend at The Pause and it was absolutely amazing. The house is right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of everything. The rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished, with a good-sized bathroom. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the house is surprisingly quiet despite its central location. The host was very responsive and provided great recommendations. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome hamper, which was a nice little touch. The kids loved the toys and games provided. We will definitely be returning.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The bathroom was great, with a nice shower and they even provided free toiletries. It made me feel pampered and refreshed, just what I needed!
The only thing I didn't particularly like was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, it's just my personal preference, others might not mind at all.

I loved hiking and cycling nearby, and the free WiFi was great, although I didn't need the concierge service to find the nearest airport.
The towels offered in the holiday home were so luxurious that they made me feel uncomfortable.

The location was perfect, with just a short walk to shops, the river, and cafes. It was so convenient for exploring the area. the breakfast basket was a lovely touch and my kids absolutely loved it. The attention to detail was impeccable, with everything we could possibly need provided, from soaps and cleaners to coffee and wine glasses. The house truly felt like a home away from home. And with Netflix and Amazon Prime available, our entertainment options were top-notch.
There were a couple of downsides. The lack of air conditioning made the rooms quite hot, although we weren't expecting it in the UK. It would have been great to have at least a fan or two.

The location is perfect, tucked away from noise but just a 1-minute walk to the center. The keyless entry and prompt assistance from the host, Paula, were also major highlights. Highly recommended!
